Sontaran affair – a bit short!

Friday, May 16th, 2008

One thing I would like to make clear in this second post inaugural post of this blog is that I like all Doctor who – all of the Doctors.

What I like in the later incarnations is references to old ‘baddies’. The Sontarans that appeared in a two part episode of ‘modern’ David Tennant Doctor Who where a pleasant addition to thers such as the Dalek and the Cybermen. But what was a real treat was the fact there was not one or two but hundreds! (Well at least 20!)

As you may agree or not agree, the modern day Sontaran where lacking in just one thing… Hight!

In previous Doctor who story lines, such as ‘The Time Warrior’ the warriors of the Sontaran empire where at least 6ft tall or even more. These little fellas where about as high as your average granny. ( The next time you see your granny think about a warrior from space being that short — oh so scary! )

It was a good effort, in fact it was good that the Sontarans continued their destroy or die policy at the end instead of creeping around, as the doctor highlighted.

I would welcome the again..

I give the 7 Tardis!
