It has been confirmed that the BBC are going to present the three remaining Doctor who specials in HD. They will also be shown on the BBC’s iPlayer which is available in the UK.

I often wondered why Torchwood was shown in HD and the answer was always Doctor who had a lot more effects and the cost would be too high. This is great news!

It is a trailer you ask, how on Skaro can you write a review on a trailer. Well, easily when the trailer gives you so many clues to what is to come.

There is the obvious, the return of Rose, the further inclusion of Martha Jones and of course the return of the bady sofas where made for, the Daleks.

But, what I am interested in is, the half obscured Dalek in the darkness. Yes… edge of seat time, equal to the Master, yes, the creator of the Daleks. Davros!!

Davros returning would be amazing – this is only a theory that is spreading like wild fire but what a wild fair he would be. Pure evil, the purity of the Dalek race.

My only fear, well apart from the Dalek’s themselves is Davros being out of character, I want a truly cruel Davros, sacrifice anyone, thing for the perfecting of the Dalek race!

So to fill the said void of Doctor Who this week, what are you going to do, watch Eurovision. I think I may pop to the pub for a few.. to drown my sorrows..

In fact that reminds me; there is a pub in Central London that shows Doctor who on a wide large screen every Saturday!!!

Some issues that really should be discussed include, when she regenerated why did she not change appearance and have an episode whereby she has to decide what outfit to where – and no this is not being sexist – as every doctor has this! May be that will be brought up?

Also, why not make copies of Donna and Martha and as the doctor left the planet does that mean the child support agency will be after him for maintenance!
